What I say:
This is a pretty heavy piece. Not heavy to where it would bend or break anything but heavy to where you know its not cheap. It screwed right on to our shower pipe with no issues at all. It even extended our shower head outward which is so nice because my husband is really tall and he could never get it comfortable for himself in the shower.
