I have a two year old and I thought this would be the perfect thing to review on his bed. Let's get into this review and see how this pad was for us! What They Say: Baby Water Proof Mattress Protector Pad This bamboo fiber waterproof mattress protector pad is very versatile underpad. Bamboo fiber is known to be antibacteria, antiodor and most importantly safe and soft to the baby skin. Whether you need a crib pad, change pad cover or baby mattress protector, this pad will get the job done! What I Say: At first I did not think it would be water proof because it felt like it was just fabric. Its about the size of an adult pillow case so it fits really nicely positioned in the middle of a crib mattress where accidents or spill happen the most. I got this because my son is two and always brings a sippy cup of water to bed with him and sometimes, it spills all over his bed at night. He comes in our room soaking wet and cold and we have to get him cleaned up and changed and his whole bed spread. With this pad, we only need to remove the pad if he spills his water. It soaks up liquid very quickly right where it was spilled so it doesnt run into his clothing or all over him. It doesnt soak through the pad so his mattress stays clean and dry. It's actually been some what of a god send for us. It keeps us from having to wash his sheets twice a day. Its a thing material so it is not uncomfortable for him to sleep on. He does not even notice its there which is nice so he doesnt mess with it and unposition it. Its beyond easy to wash it. I just throw it in the washer and its good to go. It hasnt lost its color, shape, or softness at all. My son has no reactions on his skin from the material. Its made from bamboo fiber which is known for being antibactrial and an anti odor material. This pad is safe for your child and their mattress. Its made well and does the job its made for! I highly recommend checking it out!
