It is always nice to go on-line and see all the expensive, luxury, makeup items on the market. Every now and then, we can even grab some for ourselves. However, for most of us, items like that are just not possible or in our budget and never will be. We have to work with what we have and what we can afford. I am one of those people. So, I went searching for items that were affordable but, just as good as luxury or high end beauty products. I have to say, I definitely found some that should be in every persons inventory! 1. Mario Badescu Skin Care-
When it comes to skin care, it can burn a hole right through your wallet. I am one of those people who does not mind spending a little bit extra for skin care as I see it to be one of the MOST important parts of beauty and taking care of our skin. However, not everyone has the funds even if the intentions are there. Mario Badescu Skincare in amazing and relatively affordable as well. It is sold at Ulta or on their online store. Their most expensive items in their line is $45. Compared to most other skin care lines, that is amazingly affordable! The skin care also works very well for being as affordable as it is! The packaging is very plain so, I over looked it many times but, finally got the Rose Water Spray because it was the cheapest I could find at Ulta and I was BLOWN AWAY by how amazing it was. Even compared to other rose water sprays I received after that, that were twice the price, were not as good. So, I went and got the Glycolic Acid Toner and was blown way by that as well! Not only is it cheaper than most toners but, you get more product as well. The toner comes with 8 fl oz for $18. I find the Mario Badescu to be a serious hidden treasure in the skincare world!

2. Essence Waterproof Gel Eyeliners-
Essence, in my opinion, is a really under rated and over looked cosmetics company. They do have a lot of misses but, one thing is for sure, their Waterproof Gel Eyeliners are NOT one of them. I actually got the eyeliner in a swag bag from an event or I would of never of bought it myself. The first time I tried it out, I was sold and wanted every single one they had. One of my biggest problems with eyeliner is they do not stay on my waterline. They run and smudge and end up in the corners of my eyes a few hours later. I even have $20 high end ones that claim to be smudge proof and do not hold to those claims. No one wants to spend more than $10 on an eyeliner, admit it. Haha. This eyeliner is so creamy and pigmented. It glides right on your waterline with no pulling or tugging. It is a retractable liner so you do not need to sharpen it. The liner stays put ALL day without fading or running. I was seriously so shocked by the performance of this liner. At the price of $2.99, this little baby is DEFINITELY one of my favorite hidden treasures!

3. Jordana Blushes-
Jordana has a TON of items that can be hidden treasures. The line if so affordable and definitely a good place to start for people on a budget! My favorite that I have tried so far are the blushes! I have "Touch of Pink", "Sweet Honey", "Apple Cheeks", and "Blushing Rose". I received one in a friend mail and was so shocked, I went out and bought three more and I TRAVELED for these babies! Haha! That is saying something! Not only is the packaging sleek and small so you can store them easily, they are beautifully pigmented! They are not overly pigmented like some cheaper blushes can be. So, you won't end up looking like a clown. They have medium pigmentation that is buildable which is exactly how a good blush should be! They have a huge range of shades as well that makes it impossible to not find a blush color for you! At $2.49, you just can't beat them!

4. Wet n Wild Single Eye Shadows-
Wet n Wild is known for coming out with some awesome eye shadow palettes. My favorite with be "Comfort Zone" which blew me out of the water! BUTTTTTT, I also found that the Color Icon single eye shadows are just as amazing and much cheaper! You can find them at a lot of Dollar Tree stores for $1. My favorite one is Creme Brulee. It is a flesh tone shadow that is SUPER pigmented and works amazingly at setting your eye shadow primer and covering any veins or hyper pigmentation on the lids. A few other treasures are Nutty and Cheeky as well!

5. Essence Make Me Brow-
Let's talk more Essence! This hidden treasure is a gel brow hair setter. It is an exact dupe for the Benefit Gimme Brow which is $24.00 for 0.1 oz. The Essence one is $2.99 for 0.12 oz. They literally have the exact same formula. The only difference is the brush. The Benefit one has a small, cone shape wand while the Essence one is a bit bigger and does not have the cone shape. I do have to admit the wand on the benefit one is better but, saving $21.00 is WAY better! Haha!
