The box I got this time was the Vaseline box. I was a little weary about it because I thought they would send me lube or something haha! But, they sent me a pretty nice sized bottle of their Intensive Care Advanced Repair lotion. It is unscented and really good for people with sensitive skin! My husband tried it immediately because he is a contractor and his hands are NASTAYYYY! haha! He loved it! It isn't greasy and it sinks in to your skin pretty quickly! It says its clinically proven to heal very dry skin in 5 days. So, I will take that challenge and we will see! I will post a video on my YouTube channel about it soon! Head over to Influenster and start getting your own Vox Box's!! www.influenster.com
I've been talking a lot about eye shadows so, I thought I would talk about an amazing and cheap lip product today!! These are my go to, must have, holy grail lip product!! These are the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams!! They are about $5.99 a piece. Sometimes you can find them on clearance at Target or other drug stores! They are simple perfect and look so beautiful. There are about 22 colors in the collection so, you have a pretty big selection of choices! I went more towards the reds and nudey pinks. The collection seems to be of cities all around the world. Starting from the left there is, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Instabul, Milan, and San Paulo. Some of the colors are not true to the color on the outside so I made sure to show you swatches! They are like velvet on your lips! They glide on with no patchiness. They are extremely pigmented. They are drying on the lips but I personally like that because then I know the color isn't faded! haha! Even though they are drying, they don't get sticky. Some products can get sticky when they are drying on the lips but, not these bad boys! I have one of these in my purse at all times. No lipstick ever stays on my lips as long as these do so, they are a staple product for me. Im on a mission to collect every single one. Its definitely a mission too because they sell out quickly! I would recommend these to ANYONE with total confidence. If they are too drying, just throw a NYX butter gloss on top of them and they are perfect! Leave me a comment and let me know which one is YOUR favorite. At the moment, Antwerp is the love of my life!! Haha!
I switch a lot of my products out in the winter from what I use in the summer! My skin completely changes and I always end up with dry, cracked skin! Here is my video on my winter must haves and what I use in the cold, winter months! Leave me a comment and tell me YOUR winter must haves!! Im always looking for bigger and better winter products!!
I know these BB creams and have been out FOR A WHILE. There are now CC creams and beyond! BUT, this is my first time ever buying and using a BB cream! I never gravitated towards them because it was well known they weren't full coverage and that it was I like. So, I wanted to make this post encase anyone else hasn't tried a BB creme due to the same reason!
Now, this BB cream is an 8-in-1 cream. The 8 benefits are: 1. Blurs Imperfections. 2. Enhances. 3. Brightens. 4. Adjusts to skin-tone. 5. Smoothes. 6. Hydrates. 7. SPF 30 protects. 8. 0% oils and other heavy ingredients. I bought this and didn't even try it out for a couple days (which is unlike me with new makeup) because I wasn't all that excited about it. I just kept seeing it EVERYWHERE on YouTube so it became one of those things where if you do not have it in your collection, you may as well be an alien!
When I finally tried this product for the first time, It was honestly, the best thing I had ever tried! NO JOKE. It felt AMAZING going on my skin. It is SO moisturizing and cool on the skin. I build it up three times just because I love the way it feels when I'm applying it! It actually is a pretty thick formula and that shocked me. It doesn't cover my freckles but it does SO much more! Plus, it almost acts as a primer and I noticed my makeup stayed on a lot longer when I use this. My face is actually as it says on the package. Its brighter and smoother and feels so hydrated! I am really impressed with this BB creme. The only thing I do not like is that is comes in such a small tube. I need to buy like 15 of this suckers!
I would recommend this product to each and every single one of you. Oily skin to dry skin this BB cream can deal with BOTH as the same time! They also have a BB cream for acne prone skin. Its truly an amazing product for the drug store. You can find at almost any drug store or online. At Ulta the product is $8.99 but if you order it from the Maybelline site its only $7.44. If you have this BB cream, let me know your thoughts on it!!
I recently subscribed to the Ipsy subscription. Ipsy is a $10 a month beauty subscription plan, where you get up to 5 sample products each month. They come in a little makeup bag and has a theme every month. The bags ship out every month on the 15th. Ipsy was founded by a REALLY popular YouTube Beauty blogger named Michelle Phan. A lot of people are annoyed with Ipsy and their small amount of products and samples but i love the idea! Ive been in the market for some new products and do not like buying things I end up hating! This is a great way to try new products every month for super cheap! When you first sign up it may tell you that you are on a waiting list. But, its very easy to get off that wait list by sharing their site on your social media. Heres is my video on what I got for the month of October and what I think about my first bag!! If you are subscribed to Ipsy, tell me YOUR thoughts on it!!
I just HAD to shed some light on these AMAZING eye shadows today! A lot of eye shadows need to be wet or have a white base underneath them to really stand out, but these shadows do NOT! You can use them wet, but there is no real point because they are beyond pigmented alone. The price for these can range (depending on what store you shop at) from $6-$8. There are 3.5 grams of product in each container. That is a lot, especially since you barely need to touch it to get a massive amount of product out! These shadows are a 24 hr wear shadow and definitely stay true to that time! I was having trouble finding a shadow I didn't have to work so hard with to show up on my lid so, I picked one of these up. Then two more......Then two MORE..! I am now on a mission to collect every single one. There are 24 shades in the collection ranging from nudes to brights. This was my firsts time using a L'oreal eye shadow and now I'm looking at the company a bit differently!
Here are the swatches of the five shades I own (for the moment). Starting from left to right there is: Eternal Sunshine, Gilded Envy, Glistening Garnet, Iced Latte, and Amber Rush. The swatches speak for themselves on just how beautiful these shadows really are! The great thing about them is, even though they stay on for a REALLY long time, they come off SO easily with a makeup remover wipe! There is no scrubbing or massive amounts of make up remover to remove them. It just doesn't get better in my eyes and it is a lot better than using pigments that can get EXTREMELY messy!! Let me know YOUR opinions on these shadows and your favorite colors!!
Make up is expensive! We know that. Whether your just getting in to make up or your just looking for some new products, it can be extremely over whelming and costly. So, I decided to share MY top ten inexpensive beauty products that are worth WAY more than they cost! Hopefully this will help you save some money! Let me know what some of YOUR favorite under 5$ finds are!!
1. E.L.F. Lip Balm $3
I saw a mini review on this product from a fellow YouTuber and she loved it so I had to give it a go. I am officially in LOVE. The product was WAY bigger than I thought it would be and it only cost $3.00! Its pigmented enough to look beautiful on your lips and comes in different varieties. This specific one is Mellow Melon.
You can get this item from eyeslipsface.com
2. Morphe Eyeshadow Pans $2 each:
I also found this product watching a video by LauraLee88 on YouTube. Once I visited the site, I HAD to buy something! The eyeshadow pans are only $2.00 each and the formula is high end material! As you can see from the swatches, they are REALLY pigmented and they blend out so nicely! They have names when you buy them on the site but after that they only come with a number (which is also on the site) so I put the # above the colors so they are easy to find! Their processing is a bit slow though, but once it ships it gets to you quickly! You can get these at Morphebrushes.com
3. KleanColor Eyes & Cheek Palette $1.00:
Now, this one even got me! KleanColor has some okay products and some serious MISS products! So, I obviously was pretty hesitant with this mini palette. I've gotten two other KleanColor palettes that I gave to my child because they sucked! This product, however, is pure GOLD. The formula on these shadows are exactly like my Urban Decay palette! They blend so well and are not chalky! The blush in them is so so but the eyeshadows are amazing. The fact that this palette is $1.00 just tops the cake! You can get this on ShopMissA.com. I'm pretty sure it also comes in a couple other colored palettes.
4. KleanColor Ms.Chick Blushes $1.00 :
Here is another KleanColor product worth WAY more than you pay! These are the Ms.Chick Blushes. They have so many different shades as well! They sell out fast, so you have to be quick! These three are in (from left to right) Tangerine, Petal, and Guava. I have four other ones as well but they wouldn't fit in the picture! They are BEYOND pigmented! I've seen countless videos where people name them as the most pigmented blush they own! You can have a bit of trouble blending these blushes with some shades, but if you use a light hand they are perfect! They only cost a dollar so there is no harm in buying them either! These are also on the ShopMissA.com site!
5. E.L.F. Shimmering Facial Whip $1.00 :
I use this product as a highlight. It is in the shade Lilac Petal. I also have it in Spotlight which is just a white highlight. These only cost $1.00 on the shopmissa.com site and as you can see, are really nice quality!! The Lilac Petal one has been said to be a dupe for a MAC highlighter! These also come in solid stick form!
6. NYC "Sunny" Bronzer $2.79 :
This product has gone around YouTube all summer! It is personally a "Holy Grail" item of mine! This is the NYC Bronzer in the shade 720A Sunny. So many people have said this product beats out MANY high end bronzers and I have to agree! It may not beat out Benefits Hoola bronzer but, it does beat out most! It doesn't leave you skin orange like most do and it blends out so great! Plus, it cost less than $3 so you can't beat it!! I think that some drug store companies don't realize how great their products really are, and lets hope they never do!!
7. E.L.F. Eyebrow Kit $3.00 :
Here's another "Holy Grail" of mine! The E.L.F. eyebrow kit is AMAZING ladies!! I have the Anastasia brow pencil and it doesn't even compare! I don't use the powder very much (it can actually be used as a great transition eyeshadow shade) but, the gel is top notch! I wont buy anything else because this works perfectly and only cost me $3!! I got mine in medium because i have dark colored eyebrows, but they come in three different shades. You can get this product on eyeslipsface.com.
8. Maybellines BabyLips $2.99 :
These amazing lip balms also became a huge fad this summer and I don't see them stopping any time soon! They are an amazing product that deserves the raves about them! They have all different collections with different shades. They have a smidge of tint to them that looks beautiful on the lips. They also have the Dr.Rescue ones that are medicated. I have six kinds but only showed my three favorites here. From left to right they are, 50 Soothing Sorbet, 30 Peach Kiss, and 95 Strike A Rose. They only cost $2.99 at Target. You have to have at least one in your collection!! A definite MUST HAVE product!!
9. NYC Liquid Liner $2.99 :
Now, if any of you have watched LauraLee88's videos on YouTube, you would know she SWEARS by this liquid liner, and with good reason! Its a great product! This liner is in the shade 887 Black and as you can see from the swatch, its really dark! It has a short applicator that makes making winged liner so effortless! It dries quickly and stays dark even after it has dried! The product is only $2.99 and you can find it at most drug stores. If your looking for a good liquid liner, this is your product!!
10. NYX Butter Glosses $4.99 :
Heres another lip fad for you and with good reason! These are the NYX Butter Glosses!! These are, HANDS DOWN, the BEST lipglosses I have personally ever used! They are NOT sticky at all and go so perfect over a lipstick OR alone! They also have the cutest dessert names. I have five in my collection (there are a ton more) but I only showed my two favorites so far here. From left to right they are, Eclair and Strawberry Parfait! They are pigmented, non-sticky, they last on your lips, they ARE PERFECT! If you don't have any, stop whatever your doing, and go to Target! These hit the mark at $4.99 a piece!
These awesome beauty hacks will definitely help if you run out of your normal products and need something in a jiffy. They also come in handy in general and can replace expensive beauty products!! Comment YOUR favorite household beauty hack! I'd love to hear them!
1. Use coconut oil to create a conditioning hair mask before you wash it or if you have dry or split ends
Pure coconut oil is rich in fatty acids and proteins so it will make your hair look shiny and hydrated. A little goes a long way so use it sparingly. When you use it for a mask, make sure to use a tea tree based shampoo to get all of the oil completely out of your hair.
2. Make your OWN salt spray with seltzer and a teaspoon of rock salt
If store bought sea sprays are getting too pricey or you can't find one that fits your needs, make your own!! Mix together 20 oz of seltzer and a teaspoon of sea salt in a spray bottle.
3. Spray starch can double as dry shampoo
Most dry shampoos contain starch, so if you run out of yours just use a can of starch to get the same effect. Hold the can 6-8 inches from your head and spray the oilier areas to make your hair look fresh again!

The olive oil will act as a magnet to the natural oil on your skin and in your pores. It will draw it out and leave you with glowing and super clean skin!

Blotting papers are made out of similar paper as coffee filters, so stash a couple in your purse when its hot out or you have run out of your blotting sheets and try it out! It reduces shine and soaks up oils.
8. Use cold green tea bags to decrease puffiness under your eyes
The quickest way to de-puffing and tightening your under eye skin is to apply a cold, caffeine based product. Leave it on your eyes for five or six minutes.

If your having trouble with your cat eye try this hack! Use a two inch piece of transparent tape and place it in line with your brow. Then trace your upper lash line along the tape for a perfect line! You can also use the tape to pick up any fallout from applying glitter shadows!
10. Sprinkle baking soda on top of your whitening toothpaste to help remove surface stains
Baking soda can be effective when it comes to polishing your teeth because its a mild abrasive. That means it will not hurt the enamel of your teeth as long as it is rinsed away. It will get in the harder to reach grooves and remove stains from coffee and wine ect.
11. Draw a warm bath and sprinkle in one or two cups of oatmeal for dry, itchy skin
If you skin is feeling really dry and itchy or you have a sunburn, take an oatmeal bath. Oats contain fats that act as a lubricant. It will moisturize your skin. They also are made up of complex sugars which leave a gelatinous film in your bath water and on your skin which will help with dry itchy skin.
12. Lather your legs with conditioner if you run out of shaving cream

17. Use whitening toothpaste to lift any yellow stains off your nails
If your like most of us ladies, especially during the fall, you use a lot of dark nail polishes which can turn your nails a gross yellow. Use the whitening toothpaste because it contains hydrogen peroxide and it will left the yellow stains away!
18. Use toothpaste to polish silver jewlery
You can also use toothpaste to clean your silver jewelry! Use the tartar controlled kind as it works best because it contains the most hydrated silica. Brush the toothpaste over your jewelry a few times buffing the ring with a paper towel. Rinse off any remaining toothpaste with warm water.
19. After you're done flat ironing your hair, use the iron to knock wrinkles out of your clothing

20. Tighten your skin temporarily with this coffee grind wrap
Mix one forth of a cup of warm coffee grounds and drizzle one tablespoon of olive oil over the grinds. Keep it on for about 12 minutes and remove the wrap and shower off with warm water. It will tighten the area but only for a few hours.
I get so excited every time I see a new Anastasia Beverly Hills palette come out. Lately, they have been allowing well known YouTube beauty gurus make their palettes. The last three made were all make up artists from YouTube. The first one in that line was the Amrezy palette. Then the Maya Mia palette, and now the Tamanna palette. I personally own the Amrezy and the Tamanna palette. The Tamanna palette and Maya Mia palettes colors were a little too close for me to buy both. The palettes retail at $29.00 and being that they are high end palettes, thats a relief for many.
Now, the Tamanna palette, like the others, comes with ten different shades. The first one, top left corner, is Fresh. A nice neutral color to use as a base to help blend other colors. Then, Blush, which is a nice highlight color for the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye. Then, Venezia, which happens to my favorite color from this palette. A beautiful greenish color with a touch of shimmer. Then Gilded, which reminds me A LOT of Topaz from the Amrezy palette (The swatches are exactly the same). I find that exciting though, because it is an awesome transition shade. Then Custom, a very beautiful brown shade for the crease. Then Sangria, a deep red shade. Then Bengal, which is a lot like Camel from the Amrezy palette but much needed. Then Chocolate, China Rose, and lastly, Noir.
What I find new and interesting about this palette is that it came with 5 different look cards that explain step by step how to get that look. Which is amazing for beginners or anyone that becomes overwhelmed with the palette and doesnt know where to begin! It also shows exactly how versatile this palette is!
What do you think of the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes? Which ones do you have and what are your favorite shades??
